Trade Adjustment - HACK
Trade Adjustment - Prime Cyber Security ETF (HACK) Hello Smart Option Sellers! The selling continues in the market, and we're sitting on a major support area based on the charts. Will it hold? Hard to tell, but based on momentum and the mood, we'll probably move through it to more downside. It's a bit scary out there right now and I can feel the nervousness about holding long stock positions, whether that's in your brokerage account, IRA, 401K, etc. No one likes to see value evaporate, and that's how we tend to look at things when the market sells off. We think, "ugh, why didn't I sell". Well, that could be one of the worst thoughts to have. Sure, we may give up some paper gains at the moment. But what if we view this pull-back as a buying opportunity? Because months from now when the market is making new highs, you'll be saying, "ugh, why didn't I buy more!" So, being the optimist that I am, we are going to use today's pull-back to adjust our working order in HACK so we can get into the trade. Here's what you can choose to do: Cancel your sell-to-open order for the HACK September 20, 2019 $31 put options. And replace it with this new order: Sell (sell-to-open) the HACK September 20, 2019 $32 put options for a limit sell price of $.25 per contract or higher, GTC, as an opening transaction (sell-to-open). All we're doing is swapping the strike prices. No big deal. Currently, the market for this put option is $.25 bid/$.30 offer, so we should be able to get these done today.. Do not sell for anything less than $.25 per contract. Gap, Inc. (GPS) We also currently have a put-sell position in the GPS June 2019 $20 put option that is getting very close to the strike price. GPS stock is trading near $21 and the company releases earnings after the bell tomorrow. Stay alert tomorrow as I may or may not issue an adjustment on the trade. That's all for now. Get those HACK orders in there and let us know how you do. Continue to hold all other open positions as-is. Contact us here with fills, comments, questions or concerns. Regards,
